We have to undertake a significant project to migrate our customers away from the legacy IP Transit service supplied by “Simply Transit”.Â
We need you to migrate from public IP addresses previously allocated and hosted by Simply Transit to the Pulsant internet address space. That will help us to provide a more reliable and stable service to our customers.
We will need you to complete the IP Migration project until Monday 15th November 2014. The Simply Transit service will terminate at that time.
If your services are not migrated by that time, they will become isolated from the rest of the internet.
Please find below details of your new IP Addressing:
1. Shared IPs
The next IPs will be changed on 05.10.2014 at 01:00:00 GMT
185.43.79.38 replaces 213.229.91.230 - ns7.aspnethosting.co.uk
185.43.78.169 replaces 213.229.91.214 - ns8.aspnethosting.co.uk
If you are using ns7.aspnethosting.co.uk or ns8.aspnethosting.co.uk as Name Servers we will replace it with new IP and you do not need to do any changes.
If you are not using our Name Servers and you have any A DNS records on your domain outside of our system you have to change it manually.
2. MSSQL 2008, MSSQL 2012, MySQL
185.43.78.170 replaces 213.229.66.226 - mssql2012.aspnethosting.co.uk
185.43.78.171 replaces 91.186.19.114 - mssql2008.aspnethosting.co.uk
185.43.78.172 replaces 91.186.19.115 - mysql2.aspnethosting.co.uk
If you are using IP address, instead of mysql2.aspnethosting.co.uk, mssql2012.aspnethosting.co.uk or mssql2008.aspnethosting.co.uk, you will have to update it in your connection strings.
If you are using MSSQL2008, MSSQL2012 or MySQL server names directly, no changes from your side are required.
These IPs will work together until 15th November 2014
3. Dedicated IPs
If you have one of dedicated IP below and use our Name servers we will change your DNS records and you do not need to do any changes.
But if you are not using our Name Servers and have any A DNS records on your domain outside of our system you have to change it manually.
185.43.78.173 replaces 91.186.19.175
185.43.78.174 replaces 213.229.79.130
